Regional Development Northern Rivers is delighted to announce that applications and enrolments for the Digi-Advantage Business Consulting program are now open.
The program follows recent public consultation sessions seeking input into the regional digital strategy and will provide businesses and individuals with an opportunity for direct involvement in the increasing digital economy.
The Digi-Advantage Consultants training course is being delivered by North Coast TAFE and will provide tech savvy students with 60 hours of training tailored to developing skills to start a career in online marketing and e-Commerce. On completion of the training the program seeks to place course graduates in businesses for a minimum 20 hour paid work placement. We are looking for 45 students to enrol in this training course and to take up the work placement opportunity.
The Digi-Advantage Business partners program provides businesses with a desire to improve their online presence with the services of a Digi-Advantage graduate consultant on a subsidised placement. The placement is for a minimum of 20 hours and is subsidised on a 50/50 basis. Businesses and not for profits across the region can apply for these placements to address their digital needs (e.g set up a website, develop e-commerce capabilities, develop a social media plan)
